Do you have a HHS student who enjoys art, music, theatre or the literary arts? Hereford P.O.P.S. (Parents of Performing Students), the “ARTS BOOSTERS” at Hereford, needs your help in promoting the Arts programs that bring so much of our kids’ talent to success.
Thanks to Hereford’s wonderful parents and business community, we are able to provide support to the Arts at HHS. Enhancements to our programs that have been realized through P.O.P.S. donations have included:
• Art supplies
• Sound equipment
• Software and computer equipment
• Auditorium and Tyler Art Gallery improvements
Every year P.O.P.S. funds four scholarships (choral, music, theatre and art) presented to selected students at graduation. Additionally, P.O.P.S. provides a donation yearly to each of nine departments at Hereford providing education in the arts. P.O.P.S. receives requests for help on an ongoing basis. We will prioritize these requests at our first meeting. PLEASE TRY TO JOIN US. Your help is really needed. Parent participation in P.O.P.S. is critical to the Arts at Hereford.
Hereford P.O.P.S. meets on the last Wednesday of every month (except December) at 7:30 PM. We meet in the conference room across from the Main Office.
